Captain Kelly's Summer Trip

This summer I set sail on three voyages! This one was to New Jersey with my family.  Here we are enjoying the boardwalk filled with yummy foods, games, and of course shopping for me!

I found a SHIP!!!  Sadly, it was too big to bring back home.  The ship was under attack by pelicans!  If you look really close you can see white dots in the sky. They aren't stars, they are hundreds of  pelicans flying all around looking to steal food right from people's hands.

I looked really hard for a hermit crab with a pirate shell.  Turns out hermit crabs are quite a bit of work to care for SO I will leave it up to the crew to research and learn how to help me take care of one before we bring it on board our ship of learning!  So crew... a hermit crab class pet is up to YOU!

This is THE BEST sea salt caramel pretzel ice cream I've ever tasted.

The house we stayed in had an elevator.  I've NEVER been in an elevator in a house before and quickly discovered if I wanted to eat ice cream I better take the stairs... no elevator needed! :)

It was a beautiful place to visit, but it is always good to sail back home!
