Our Elf arrived from the North Pole!!

I was starting to wonder what was taking our elf so long to arrive.  Santa usually sends my crew an elf, but the past few years he or she arrived in a block of ice because of their naughtiness at the North Pole.  It took us awhile to teach the pillars of character to the elf. Today Mrs. Murphy found our elf in the freezer at school! It was mailed, but apparently our weather wasn't cold enough for our little elf.  The crew named him appropriately.... "Frosty!" We think it will be a nicer elf since he didn't arrive in the solid block of ice.  I guess we will find out next week! Santa sent a letter applauding the crew for world changing behavior and asking that we continue to show kindness.  The crew got to work immediately and came up with the idea to have a "Nice" chart where they would post something kind someone did for them! The acts of kindness have begun and I can't wait to see what he crew comes up with next!!

Mrs. Murphy and Mr. Strickland knew it was for our class by the tag!!

The cheering began that the package might be an elf!

It was fun to feel the cold package!

Mrs. Murphy read us our letter from Santa!

Here is Frosty!!

Our letter from Santa!

Frosty's first spot to visit! After all- a bucket of sand must be pretty different from all that snow up north!

The students came up with this on their own and I got to watch the list of kind acts!! I love their kind hearts!!
